Marathon Training….
Posted on May 5, 2010Training for a marathon is hard. I’ve never been much of a runner and was the kid in elementary school who couldn’t run a mile. I’m looking to change that and for the last month, I’ve been training for the Marine Corps Marathon. Okay, kind of training for it. I was doing really well the first two weeks, but the last two, I’ve been such a slacker. I’m going to start posting my workout results on here to motivate me to get better in time for the race in October.
Currently, I’m running about a 12:30 min mile. The goal is to get that down to around 10:00. Today’s workout wasn’t bad. You can check it out, by clicking on the link above. Averaged about a 12:20 time and burned 572 calories. Now if I could only get the diet under control.
